# Introduction

TRAVA is the world’s first decentralized marketplace for cross-chain lending. We offer a flexible mechanism in which users can create and manage their own lending pools. In this guide, we will explain how you can use the lending pool in a proper way for 4 fundamental purposes: deposit, borrow, withdraw, repay.
