The Battle Hand Mini-Game is a battle of wits inspired by a traditional game called Rock, Paper, Scissors. During the battle, Knight will have a chance to choose an appropriate action to compete with the competitor. The actions have the picture of each element in the Rock, Paper, Scissors game, and the rules are similar to the traditional game: Rock beats Scissors, Scissors beats Paper, and Paper beats Rock.
When participants join in the Mini-Game, they will have thrilling excitement as well as a joyful winning moment. Battle Hand is a game for users who like adventurous, thrilling, exciting experiences. The winner also receives large rewards after competing with other users by winning their competitors in the battle.
The Room Host: Create a room, pick the 7 actions, and determine the bet amount. The host can cancel the room or lower the bet if there are no participants. The host has to choose the actions (Rock, Paper, Scissors) and the password before submitting the transaction on the blockchain to open a new room.
NOTE: The minimum bet is 0.01 BNB and there are no limits to the maximum bet.
The Joiner selects the preferred room in the room list and chooses the 7 actions (Rock, Paper, Scissors), then submits the transaction on the blockchain to enter the battle and wait for the confirmation of the Room Host.
After both transactions (Room Creation and Room Joining) have been submitted. The Room Host will have a Safe Time window to resolve the match. If Room Host does not resolve in the Safe Time window within 24 hours, Room Player will be able to claim victory without the Host’s resolution. Joiners CAN EXIT THE ROOM even after submitting transactions.
The outcome from each round will be determined by the classical Rock, Paper, Scissors rule: rock beats scissors, scissors beat paper, and paper beats rock. The winner gets 3 points, the loser gets 0, and each player gets 1 point if a draw occurs.
After 7 rounds have been resolved, the player with the highest point will win. If it is tied, the winner will be determined by a single coin flip: head means the host wins and vice versa, and tail means the player wins.
Winners will claim rewards in Battle Hand History by clicking on the button “Claim”.
For example,
R: Rock
P: Paper
S: Scissors
Host submits R-R-P-P-S-S-S
Player submits S-S-R-R-R-S-P
After resolving round 1 through pair 7, the Host gets 16 points (winning rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, drawing round 6). The Player gets 4 points (winning round 5, drawing round 6). Thus, the Host will be crowned the winner of this match.
NOTE: Players DO NOT need a Knight to play, users who own Knight will receive special offers on Room Fees, and this feature will be located on the Trava Knight NFT app!
How to create a room?
To create a new room, the Host needs to follow 3 steps:
Step 1: Simultaneously choose and select 7 actions (Rock, Paper, Scissors).
Step 2: Enter the password to encrypt all of the 7 chosen actions before submitting them to the blockchain, and secure the users’ information.
Step 3: Select the bet money, which must be higher than 0.05BNB.
NOTE: The Creator will only be charged for the transaction fees, and a small amount of the profits from the winners will be taken to support and develop the game further:
No Knight: 7.5% of the winning profit
Normal Knight: 2.5% of the winning profit
Limited Knight: 0% of the winning profit
For example,
A created a room with the bet amount of 0.5 BNB. And B entered and accepted the bet amount.
After that, the Battle began and A won the Battle and B lost the game. This meant that A was the one who could receive the rewards and had to pay the platform fees. The system will automatically calculate the fee amount based on the Knight ownership of the winner.
The rewards that A received are:
If A does not own Knight: 0.5 + 0.5 - 7.5%*0.5 = 0.9625 BNB
If A has Normal Knights: 0.5 + 0.5 - 2.5%*0.5 = 0.9875 BNB
If A has Limited Knight: 0.5 + 0.5 - 0%*0.5 = 1 BNB
